Cala Salada y Saladeta
Untamed beaches hugged by forest, with turquoise waters perfect for switching off.
“The scenic path connecting the two coves.”
The Experience
These two sister coves are the pride of San Antonio and, honestly, of the entire island. Imagine a scene straight out of a movie: lush pine forests sloping steeply down to a sea so intensely turquoise it looks Photoshopped. Cala Salada is the first one you’ll come across; it’s more accessible, featuring a mix of pebbles and sand alongside traditional reddish-wood boathouses that give it an authentic fishing vibe.
But the real adventure begins when you decide to head over to Cala Saladeta. You’ll have to choose between a forest trail or a bit of a scramble over the rocks (watch your flip-flops!). The reward is a pristine cove of fine white sand, completely untouched, with no beach bars or buildings—just an endless natural swimming pool. It’s the perfect spot to spend the whole day snorkeling among schools of fish and completely forgetting that clocks even exist.
